I
said they were wrong.
Blasphemer, they called me strong.
Then said me to move along
The scriptures divine, all lifelong.
I read as they said,
To find something worth mud,
Blasting was my head,
But I finished before I was dead.
I saw stories of faith and parables of
wisdom.
Ravishing songs and anecdotes of
martyrdom.
But I didn't see god or his Kingdom.
Proof of god, these scriptures they
say.
Craft of men, these scriptures I say.
Then again, you're a blasphemer they
say.
