A spell cast on mankind.
It turns us mad, turns us vile,
Turns us creatures barbaric.
We men are wretched things.
Always striving for a better life,
With dreams of dwelling among stars.
But at the thought of carnal bliss,
We become worms preying decay,
And stink like pigs lying in filth.
Drugs journeying through our veins,
Our brains betray us.
Sisters made sluts in our eyes.
Daughters attacked like stray dogs.
Green leaves made red.
The great flood couldn't cleanse this stain,
Sodom couldn't change our hearts.
Wise Kings fell, brothers were slew,
All at the feet of this ancient monster.
No tree is without leaves,
No fruits without leaves.
Please don't turn it red.
Let the leaves be...
Let it turn yellow
And wither away slow and peaceful.
